Guided motorcycle tour Valencia

Hello, I’m Rafa Payá!

My idea when defining the first day of the Guided motorcycle tour Valencia was not to overload it, allowing you to enjoy a simple journey through the coastal towns between Valencia and Denia. I wanted to leave enough time for you to have a pleasant first encounter and get a feel for the sensations your motorcycle brings.

The city of Denia and its surroundings are undoubtedly the perfect backdrop to enjoy motorcycling.

With this in mind, I designed the second day of the tour, focused on giving you a taste of all the beautiful landscapes this area has to offer.

Of course, good food, starting with the breakfasts, couldn’t be missing on this route. To meet this requirement, I’ve carefully selected the bars and restaurants where we will stop to indulge in local gastronomy.

Equally important is to arrive at a pleasant place to rest at night.

The selected hotel  is filled with the essence of the sea with every sunrise. A hotel that unreservedly offers you all the magic of the Mediterranean.

For the last night, I thought, “Why not go see some live music and have a dance?” Thought and scheduled!

Thanks to one of the city’s most iconic venues, you’ll enjoy an authentic experience where you can dance and laugh until you can’t anymore. Music takes center stage tonight. Get ready!

I believe that coming to Valencia and having paella is good, but in the activity that concludes this journey, I wanted to take you a step further.

You’ll be the one cooking paella with your own hands. Under the precise instructions of an expert Valencian chef, you’ll cook this famous age-old dish and learn all the secrets of its recipe.

Will you dare to make it again when you return home? That’s the challenge I’m leaving on the table. Bon appétit!

If you’re not a big fan of cooking, in the same workshop, you can prepare a true “sangria”, a perfect accompaniment to Valencian paella. Cheers!

I approach the creation of each and every activity, always thinking of you, or to be honest, thinking as if I were the one enjoying all of these experiences.

The question is always the same: What would I like to do if I were on this tour?

The answers are the activities of this guided motorcycle tour Valencia to Denia Xpress, which I hope will be an experience truly worth your while.

See you on the road!

Motorcycle tours valencia, an unforgettable experience

Valencia, the land of flowers and festivals, is one of the largest and most important cities in Spain, and also one of the liveliest. Located on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, you'll find beaches right in the heart of the city. Valencia boasts a rich cultural and historical heritage, with one of the most extensive historic districts on the Iberian Peninsula, making it one of the most visited cities in Spain.

Strolling through its streets and enjoying the numerous possibilities the capital offers is an experience where time can easily slip away. If, after that, you start feeling hungry, it's the perfect time to try Spain's most famous dish right where it originated—the Valencian Paella.

Valencia is the city where ToroBiker, our headquarters, is located, and it serves as the starting point for many of our motorcycle journeys.

Some curiosities about Valencia

Las Fallas

It is one of the most important festivals in Valencia and without a doubt the most recognized internationally, but do you know what its origin is? The Fallas of Valencia began because the carpenters in the area piled up pieces of wood that they could not use for anything and on the eve of Saint Joseph they burned the mountain

Paella is not food

Paella is an almost sacred element of Valencian culture and extremely appreciated nationally and internationally. However, originally it was referred to as “paella rice” and not just plain paella. Because? Because the paella is, in reality, that very large, shallow pan with two handles that we now call a “paella pan”. In order to learn curiosities about Valencia and paella, you should visit the Valencian lagoon. In the rural areas near the Albufera is where paella rice emerged, a simple and humble dish that was prepared with the ingredients that were available from the fields and orchards, for example, vegetables and rabbits.

It has the largest aquarium in Europe

Are you a water lover? If you love knowing and observing all kinds of aquatic creatures, without a doubt the Valencia Oceanographic Center is a mandatory stop for you. With more than 100,000 square meters that house up to 500 different species, the Valencia Oceanographic Center is positioned as the largest in all of Europe. Among other curious species, you can see the only beluga family on the entire continent that lives in an aquarium.

1Valencia

Located on the coast of Alicante province, Denia captures the essence of the Mediterranean. With over 20 kilometers of fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters, this charming Valencian city is perfect for those seeking sun, sea, and rich culture. The Denia Castle, with its panoramic views of the sea and the city, is a must-visit. This ancient fortress tells the story of Denia's rich history, from its Roman origins to its Islamic era. Stroll through the old town, where cobblestone streets and colorful houses will transport you back in time. Denia is also famous for its port, one of the most important in the region, which connects to the Balearic Islands and offers a vibrant marine life. Here, you can enjoy delicious seafood and traditional dishes in the many restaurants lining the harbor, like the famous red prawns of Denia, an authentic delicacy. For nature lovers, the Montgó Natural Park offers hiking trails with spectacular views. Additionally, Denia is an ideal starting point to explore the Marine Reserve of Cabo de San Antonio, an underwater paradise for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. With its blend of history, culture, nature, and gastronomy, Denia invites you to relax and enjoy Mediterranean life at its best. Come and discover everything Denia has to offer!

Meet our guide

Rafa
The passion for motorcycles runs in my DNA, as my entire family has had, enjoyed, and traveled on motorcycles for as long as my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins can remember. That’s why riding a motorcycle is something natural for me, much more than a luxury or a whim; it’s a way of life and, of course, a way to experience travel. From the very beginning, I’ve been involved in advocating for the rights of bikers at a time when nobody paid attention to us. I gave voice to our demands for years on the first radio program in Spain dedicated exclusively to the world of two wheels, “100% Moto.” I enjoyed being the director and host of the program, and it was during this time that I began organizing trips, weekend routes, and local and national demonstrations. These were the years of motorcycling advocacy. As far back as I can remember, I’ve enjoyed organizing routes for friends, whether for just a day (a ride, lunch, and back home) or longer trips. I’ve always dedicated my efforts to paying attention to every detail of the journey so that those who accompanied me could fully enjoy the experience without worrying about anything other than riding. With this approach to trip organization, I naturally took over the “Route Planning Department” at Toro Biker, something that, for me, is more than a job; it’s a passion. With the clear goal of creating unique experiences that clearly stand out from conventional trips, which I don’t particularly like, we have created this unique space to share our experiences, our way of seeing and feeling motorcycles, and above all, our way of living our travels. For us, hitting the road, staying at a hotel, and moving on the next day is not traveling; it’s almost a waste of time. Toro Biker wants to feel every kilometer of the road, enjoy every landscape, stop to chat with the people who inhabit the places we visit, learn from them, listen to their stories, and share with them, even if only for a short time, their way of life. That, for Toro Biker, is how we turn a trip into a unique experience. This is ultimately the energy that drives us to carry forward this project: Toro Biker. Bike is life. view more
